The Santa Clara County Bar Association is a nonprofit professional organization of lawyers in Santa Clara County, California. For over a century, our organization has helped the community through its member services, community service programs, and legal education.

Our Lawyer Referral Service is a trusted way to connect with pre-screened lawyers in Santa Clara County, CA. Every lawyer who participates in our lawyer referral service is a member in good standing of the State Bar Association of California, maintains professional liability insurance and has demonstrated experience in their practice area.

Follow these three simple steps to use the SCCBA Lawyer Referral Service:

• Call 669-302-7803 to speak with our LRS staff member about your legal problem; or contact us online for 24/7 access to the referral system.
• Pay a $41 non-refundable administration fee by credit or debit card.
• You will be matched with one of our attorneys within 24 hours.
• Receive your 30-minute consultation with a qualified local lawyer in the area of legal expertise you select (please note that our panel of attorneys does not represent all practice areas in the law).
• Plus, receive a free second 30-minute appointment with a different lawyer, if the first matched attorney is unable to assist you.

We do not provide free legal services, and very, very few of our panel attorneys are available for modest means representation. This is a REFERRAL service only.

All Attorneys in our Lawyer Referral Service charge NO FEE for the first 30 minute consultation. Neither you, nor the lawyer, are under any obligation to continue beyond the first consultation. If your problem requires further legal services and you elect to hire the lawyer, you and the lawyer will decide the fee to be charged.

If the first attorney is unable to assist you, i.e. is unavailable, or unable to meet your particular need, you may be re-referred to a second attorney at no additional administrative fee.
