Lawyer Referral Service

Overview

SCCBA will do the vetting for you! We ensure our panel attorneys are in good standing with the State Bar Association of California, have current Professional Liability Insurance and no ethical violations. Our Lawyer Referral Service operates online 24/7 at sccba.community.lawyer. Simply complete the fillable request form, pay a $41 administrative fee, and our system will match you with an attorney in the practice area you select within hours! You will receive the  lawyer's contact information enabling you to schedule a 30 minute consultation at no additional cost and with no obligation to hire. No access to the internet?  Our LRS Coordinators are available Monday through Friday, 10 am to 2 pm at 669-302-7803.

Find Your Lawyer Now

All attorneys participating in our program have been pre-screened to ensure ethicality and up to date insurance coverage for your immediate legal needs. Bilingual in English and Spanish, we communicate with you with empathy and skill. We're here to help you find the right attorney for you. Please note that our attorneys' practice areas are broad and we may not have an attorney who is able to offer highly specialized services such as medical malpractice.

We are not able to provide pro bono or "low bono" services, but we can often refer to other agencies who do.

Simple Steps

  1. Call 669-302-7803 to speak with an LRS staff member about your legal problem; or contact us online.
  2. Receive your 30-minute consultation with a qualified local lawyer in the area of legal expertise you require. Your consultation will be immediately arranged around your schedule, usually within 24-48 hours. Plus, receive a free second 30-minute appointment with a different lawyer, if requested.
  3. Pay a $41 non-refundable administration fee by credit or debit card.

All Attorneys in our Lawyer Referral Service charge NO FEE for the first 30 minutes.

Neither you, nor the lawyer, are under any obligation to continue beyond the first consultation. If your problem requires further legal services and you elect to hire the lawyer, you and the lawyer will decide the fee to be charged.
