Federal Sentencing and the Presentence Investigation Report

Creating a “PSR” to Obtain the Right Sentencing Outcome


Waiting until the Sentencing Memorandum to resolve issues that will affect a defendant’s sentence regularly does not serve the best interests of all involved.  The panelists will discuss the creation, content, and use of the Presentence Investigation Report from the perspective created by his or her role in the criminal sentencing process.
