This seminar will cover the statutes that apply to obtaining fees from the opposing party. This includes Family Code statutes, Civil Code statutes, and any others that apply. The panelists will discuss the best way to present the issue to the court and all applicable statutes. Panelists will review attorney fee cases they have handled and the approach used for a successful outcome. Materials will include a chart on the statutes, a sample motion, and a list of cases that attendees will find helpful.
