Best Practices and ethical considerations in exiting a case at termination of services 

This course will discuss the practical pointers on the initial interview; red flags to look for during the initial interview, the various ways in which legal services begin (i.e., limited scope, association of counsel, full representation) and what must be done to terminate those services; with or without cooperation.  The course will include discussion of the pertinent provisions of the Business & Professions Code and the Rules of Professional Conduct, with practical applications.
