Laying the foundation to admit out-of-court statements, especially via the "Business Records Exception" (Evidence Code §1271) can often be the key factor in winning or losing a trial. Join attorney Brian Liddicoat as we explore how these rules really work in the courtroom. We'll learn how to properly lay foundations and how to properly object to preserve issues for appeal.
