The Discovery Phase of litigation is often the most important part of preparing a case for trial. Discovery - when used properly - can result in allowing parties to obtain the evidence they need to evaluate their dispute, and avoid any "surprises" at the time of trial. This MCLE focuses on the practice of discovery and will provide attendees with new tips, techniques, and a few tricks on how to properly conduct discovery.
Please join our panel members as they discuss matters such as: - Creating a Discovery Plan
- Tips on propounding effective written discovery
- Taking effective Depositions
- Using alternative procedures for discovery
This seminar will benefit young lawyers in helping them efficiently and effectively plan discovery strategy and more seasoned professionals with insider tips from highly respected plaintiff’s and defense attorneys on how they can maximize and enhance their knowledge in this area.
