Sujit Choudhry, the embattled dean of UC-Berkeley School of Law, tendered his resignation Thursday, two days after his executive assistant sued him and the university for sexual harassment,
A university spokesman confirmed Choudhry's resignation. No other details were immediately available.
Tyann Sorrell alleges in an Alameda County Superior Court complaint that Choudhry hugged her, kissed her on the cheek and forehead and inappropriately touched her on an almost daily basis from the time he became dean in July 2014 until she took paid leave from the school in March 2015.
